Happy April Oakwind!​​​​​

2025 GRADUATION BANNER: Pilar Landreneau has volunteered to spearhead our annual graduation banner. You many contact her with any info about your senior at pilar.landreneau@gmail.com. The deadline is April 3rd. 

LPR and Moniter: Our LPR (License Plate Reader) is finally 100% operational. So now every vehicle will be recorded coming and going in our neighborhood.

SPRING YARD SALE: Friday and Saturday April 18th- April 19th.

OAKWIND STREET PAVING: Cobb DOT has put Oakwind on the Calendar for repaving for 2027. SPEED LIMIT SIGNS/POSTS: All new street and traffic signs have been completed throughout entire neighborhood.

PINE STRAW: New pine straw is being applied to the flower beds and other amenity areas. Some areas we are beginning to convert to rubber mulch to help save on future mulch costs.  

ASSESSMENT NOTICES: The annual assessment notices have been sent to all residents. Two options for payments are as follows: Pay total amount of $700.00, or break annual payment into two payments of $350.00. First payment due by February 1st 2025, second payment of $350.00 due on or before August 1st 2025.

CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS: The HOA & AIO mgmt company uses the email address you supply for communicating with you on a monthly basis. Notices, Updates, and Newsletters are sent this way as a quick way to communicate to residents. We do not sell, and or provide them to vendors, so please keep your email contact information current.

REPLACEMENT FOB/KEY: If you need a replacement fob or key, please contact secretaryoakwind@gmail.com. Be sure to include both first names of yourself and spouse as well as your last name. Please allow for 24-48 hours Monday - Friday for a response.

VEHICLE PARKING: No cars, trucks or motorcycles should be parked in the Clubhouse parking lot overnight. The lot is for the daily parking of members and-guests using the HOA amenities. Since all amenities close by 10 PM vehicles should be gone from the area by 11PM. Vehicles remaining in the parking lot overnight or parked in the area for 24 consecutive hours are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense. For residents guests, extended parking is allowed in the clubhouse common parking area, however you must notify the Oakwind BOD via email, to avoid towing. 

PLEASE adhere to the 25mph speed limit in the neighborhood, we ask that you please pay special attention driving during morning and afternoon bus drop off/ pick up times. Yellow flashing lights on a school bus indicate the bus is preparing to stop to load or unload. Red flashing lights indicate the bus has stopped and children are getting on or off the bus. Drivers must stop their cars and wait until the red lights have stopped flashing before proceeding. Parents please speak to your teenage drivers about adhering to the neighborhood speed limit, and using the utmost caution around the bus stops

ARC APPLICATION FOR EXTERIOR CHANGES: Members wanting to make changes to the exterior of their homes and yards normally must submit a written request using the forms and guideline outline in the ARC modifications section of the OAKWIND HOA page found in the All In One website under community (Oakwind). Also, the ARC Guideline's provide information on other areas of interest. Normally an applications reviewed and responded to within 30 days or sooner. The Board urges members to submit applications before you plan to make
changes or additions to the exterior of your house or property. Also all meeting minutes can also be accessed at allinonemgmt.com.

Reminder that the Oakwind tennis reservation system is: reservemycourt.com. All members can use this site to reserve a court.

 

To reserve the clubhouse, please check availability on the Events calendar above for a date. All reservations are listed on the events calendar. Then simply email clubhouseoakwind@gmail.com. The clubhouse coordinator will get back to you Monday - Friday within 24-48 hours of your inquiry with your confirmation email and deposit instructions.
